The Great Bowerbird (*Chlamydera nuchalis*) is Australia’s largest bowerbird and a master builder of the tropical north. Found across the Top End from the Kimberley to Cape York and as far south as Mount Isa and Townsville, this robust, fawny-grey bird is famous for constructing elaborate avenue bowers decorated with an array of natural and man-made objects.
