The Orange-bellied Parrot is a small, critically endangered migratory parrot that breeds exclusively in southwest Tasmania and migrates to coastal Victoria and South Australia for the winter. With fewer than 5 individuals remaining in the wild, it is one of Australia’s most threatened bird species and one of only three migratory parrots worldwide.
