The Yellowhead, or Mōhua in Māori, is a small native bird found only in the South Island of New Zealand. About the size of a sparrow, this charming forest dweller is known for its vibrant yellow head and melodious song. Once common, it's now a rare treat for birdwatchers lucky enough to spot one.
